The Purposes of Kilmore Historical Society Incorporated are: –

1. To foster historical interests and knowledge, particularly but not exclusively in this district.
2. To collect and preserve items of historical interest as agreed to at a meeting of members.
3. To compile and keep an historical record of the District.
4. To affiliate with the Royal Historical Society of Victoria Inc.
5. To work in association with the National Trust of Victoria in the preservation of buildings and objects of architectural and historical interest.
6. To raise funds for the fulfilment of the above purposes.
7. To engage in other activities as shall be consistent with the aims of the Society.
