Name Index

Names have been generally listed as written, unless the relationship is obvious.  That can mean the same person may appear under different entries, for example, Smith; Smith, Mr; Smith, J and Smith, John. It is for the reader to decide whether the entries relate to the same person or not.  This index covers names in the text, photographs and footnotes.
