From this week until the beginning of September the Historical Society will be open only on Tuesdays, from 10am to 3pm. We will not be open on Thursdays or Saturdays.

It will still be possible to email us at other times to discuss how we can assist if there is a specific piece of research that we can help with and you cannot come in on a Tuesday.

The reason for this decision is that we are severely short staffed at present. Some members are having health issues, and others have fled overseas to escape the Kilmore winter. We no longer have the personnel to maintain our previous opening times.

We look forward to being able to announce a resumption of our usual hours in September.
